The real stand of the MLAs will become clear in the Rajya Sabha elections- Ch. Udaybhan
• MLAs seeking votes against BJP-JJP should also vote against them- Ch. Udaybhan
• People’s eyes are on MLAs like Abhay Chautala and Balraj Kundu – Ch. Udaybhan
• People will teach a lesson to MLAs who vote for the BJP-JJP supported candidate- Ch Udaybhan
Chandigarh June 2: Haryana Congress President Chaudhary Udaybhan has appealed to all the MLAs to vote in support of Congress’ Rajya Sabha candidate Ajay Maken. He said this election will decide the future of those MLAs who claim that they are against the BJP-JJP alliance government.
“The Rajya Sabha elections will be a test for all those who claim to be anti-government. The entire state would know if they stood against the BJP-JJP government when the time really came. I would urge INLD MLA Abhay Chautala and Independent MLA Balraj Kundu to clarify their stand,” he said.
The Haryana PCC president said that both the MLAs claim to be anti-government among the people, but till now they have not said if they would stand against the BJP-JJP in the Rajya Sabha elections. “In such a situation, there is bound to be doubt among the public. The public is keeping an eye on both and all the other independent MLAs,” he added.
Udaybhan said everyone’s vote in the Rajya Sabha election would expose their true political alignment, if they really stand against the government or if they internally stand with the ruling party. “In such a case, it will become clear that they do the drama of opposing the government just to mislead the public. This Rajya Sabha election will not just decide the victory or defeat of three candidates but will also decide who is with BJP-JJP in Haryana and who is fighting against them,” he said.
“Everyone who seeks vote against the BJP-JJP government, should vote against their candidate in the Rajya Sabha election. Or else, people will teach them a lesson when they go to people in the next elections,” he said.
