Workshop on “CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION”
The Criminal Justice Practicum Cell (CJPC) of University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, successfully organized a workshop on “Crime Scene Investigation” under the aegis of Prof. (Dr.) Rajinder Kaur (Director, UILS), Ms. Nehmat (Teacher in-charge, CJPC) and Japsehaj, Dheerja and Tanya (Student Convenors, CJPC) on May 20, 2022 at Moot Court Hall, UILS from 11 am to 01 pm. The workshop was aimed at acquainting the students of the practical aspects of criminal investigation through a live simulation-cum-demonstration of the indoor crime scene of rape-cum-murder.
The workshop was conducted by the esteemed guests of honor- Sh. Nand Kishore (Dy. SP/Training, CDTI, Chandigarh) and Dr. LS Rana (Dy. Director Retd. FSL, Punjab). The workshop was also preceded by an interactive lecture by the esteemed guests. It concluded with fruitful discussions and deliberations and was received among the students with great enthusiasm.
