Enactus SSBUICET, Panjab University, a student chapter of an internationally recognized Non-Profitable Organization has been working since 2011 to uplift underprivileged communities through social-entrepreneurship based projects, keeping in mind the cause of service above self.
Echoing an urgent need to advocate the importance of Women’s Menstrual Health, team Enactus is organizing Mytharche: Transfusing NexGen Perspective, Workshop on “Menstrual Health & Hygiene” during the annual cultural fest of Dr. SSBUICET, Cyanide. The main goal of the event is to dismantle the taboo associated with talks concerning menstrual health and advocate the employability of cloth-based, reusable and eco friendly sanitary napkins, in place of conventionally available plastic-based sanitary napkins, which are detrimental both to the health of women and to the environment.
As a curtain raiser for the Workshop, I hereby request you to grace the launch of this event and participate in the press conference on 25th April 2022 at 12.30 pm at Placement Cell-I of Dr. SSB University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
