(E-Tender of vacant dwelling units on Free-Hold basis)
1. The Chandigarh Housing Board invited e-bids for sale of its built-up Residential Units (Free-Hold & Lease Hold) and built-up Commercial Units (Lease-Hold). The last date for submission of e-bids was 19.04.2022 till 10.00 AM and these were opened from 10.15 AM onwards, as per the schedule.
2. The detail of successful highest bidders has been uploaded on the website of the Chandigarh Housing Board www.chbonline.in. The whole process of e-Tendering was completed with the technical assistance of National Informatics Centre (NIC) – Chandigarh on its e-Tendering platform.

Note: Recently based on market survey and locational advantages of the units, the reserve price of commercial units was increased from Rs. 46 Lacs to Rs. 80 Lacs and from Rs. 53 Lacs to Rs. 90 Lacs. The units which could not be sold on Lease Hold basis with the reserve price between to Rs. 46 Lacs to Rs. 53 Lacs have now could be sold on Free-Hold basis for more than Rs. 80 Lacs and Rs. 90 Lacs. Hence in comparison of the reserve prices till the month of February 2022, the highest bids now received on free-hold basis are almost 70% higher.
Payment of 25 % amount by the Highest Bidder:
The highest bidder is required to make the payment by 26.04.2022 positively to avoid forfeiture of EMD and blacklisting from future tendering processes of Chandigarh Housing Board.
The remaining vacant properties will be included in the next e-Tenders which may be released in next week.
