The work for upgradation / preparation of Comprehensive Mobility Pian (CMP) for Tri City was allotted to M/s RITES Ltd. Today they have a presentation of Inception Report before Adviser to the Administrator wherein Secretary Transport, Finance Secretary, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chief Engineer and Chief Architect were also present.
This report consisted of Study Progress, Study Objectives, Study Methodology, Existing Transport Scenario, Primary Surveys and their proposed locations, Survey Data Analysis and its Inferences for the Tri-City.
This Inception Report has been approved today which will now allow RITES to begin Comprehensive Traffic & Travel Survey in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali by the next week. Based on the Survey Data Analysis, RITES will be submitting their Interim Report by May, 2022.
