On the occasion of National Sports Day- August 29, 2021, Sudha Society Foundation organises Sports Day event with the students of JJ cluster, Basai Road, Gurugram.
The day represented a unique experience as it gave the underprivileged childeren the opportunity for children to participate in fun competitive sporting races. Teaching them the importance of sports and being active as a key component of a healthy lifestyle, as well as a theme for bringing communities together.
Lot of different races were organised such as 100 m race, Backward race, Balance race, relay race and many more. The winners were awarded with stationary items and toys. The event was made possible with the assistance of SUDHA Society volunteers and President- Ms Ruchi Saxena, under the guidance of Mr. GK Bhatnagar (chairman of Sudha Society)
In summary, the event was designed to expose these underprivileged children to activity and sports within a fun and friendly atmosphere, whilst giving them the opportunity to participate in competitive races and experience that special ‘finish line feeling’, all whilst having an unforgettable day and putting smiles on their faces!
