Chandigarh, 15th August 2021 – On 15th August, St Annes Convent School, Sector 32, proudly celebrated the nation’s 75th Independence Day with a special cultural programme performed by the teachers and students of the school.
The Independence Day is one of the most important events of the Indian calendar, commemorating the peaceful freedom struggle of our founding fathers and mothers, setting a shining example for the entire world.
The event was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Sister Shyni Paul. She inaugurated the event by hoisting the national flag, after which the entire school joined her in proudly singing the National Anthem in patriotic unison. The students and teachers then presented a vibrant program consisting of patriotic poems, songs and dances celebrating the unity and diversity of our nation.
Dr. Sister Shyni concluded the event by launching a new e-magazine for the school titled The Annean Chrysalis. She then motivated the participants and audience with an inspirational speech about the profound potential inherent in the future generation to become world leaders and take India to dazzling heights on the world stage.
