Sudha Society Foundation, Gurugram celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas
on 26/7/21.
Society’s Chairman Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatnagar said that this day is
the day of Indian pride and might. Tributes were paid to all the
martyrs. Kargil Day is also celebrated for the bravery and valor of
the Indian Army.
Society’s President Ms Ruchi Saxena said
That Kargil Vijay Diwas is a very important day for all the countrymen
of Independent India.
This day is celebrated in India every year on 26th July. On this day,
the Kargil war took place between the armies of India and Pakistan in
the year 1999, which lasted for about 60 days and ended on 26 July and
India won in it.
Today the society honored two Kargil war heroes of Haryana
Lt.col.Rajiv Ghosh who lives in Bhiwadi – served in 4th battalion
Jaat Regiment and Lt Col Sanjay Seghal Gurugram served in Corps of
Engineers Indian Army and gave them certificates of honor .
Both told some of their experiences and said that thewar at that
height and climatic conditions of minus degrees was not easy but
had the courage to die for the country. The battles on mountain and
valley are to be done very carefully and the Indian Army is very proud
of their solders He said – Soldiers like me fight for the nation
and it feels great when fellow citizens recognise our efforts..
Shri Narendra Sindhi presented certificate to Lt.col.Rajiv Ghosh ;
Lt Col Sanjay Seghal Gurugram was presented certificate by Ms Ruchi
Saxena .
