Chandigarh.22nd July,2021:Adviser Sh.Dharam Pal, IAS, today visited two newly constructed schools at Raipur Kalan, Phase-III and Makhanmajra along with Secretary Education, Chief Engineer-cum-Spl. Secy. (Engg.), Director School Education and other Officials of Chandigarh Administration.
It was explained during the site visit that to meet with the demands of residents of Raipur Kalan village and surrounding area, two new Govt. High Schools have been constructed in Raipur Kalan and Makhanmajra to facilitate the school going children.
One school at Raipur Kalan phase-III is being upgraded to Senior Secondary level for the benefits of the Children of nearby areas. Each new school building have G+3 floors having provision of 48 Class rooms, Principal office, staff room, office room, mid day meal room, Girls & Boys toilets, water station, library, activity room, Chemistry lab., Physics lab., biology lab etc.
Sh.Dharam Pal, Adviser to the Administrator, U.T. has directed that to make School functional by providing various required infrastructure for the running of schools including placement of sufficient teachers, so that these schools are made functional from coming academic session.
One new school in Makhanmajra shall function as Govt. High School and other school in Raipur Kalan, Phase-III will function as Govt. Senior Secondary School.
