Golden Chance Examination by PU
Panjab University has allowed the filling up of the application forms for Golden Chance examination for the students of all Professional Courses (Annual & Semester System)/ Undergraduate Semester System for the Admission Session 2014, 2015 (Odd & Even Semesters) & 2016 (Odd semesters only) for (BBA/BCA/B.COM etc.) and for BA/B.Sc. courses viz. General/Hons./Biotech/Bioinformatics/MFT/Fashion Designing etc., 2014 batch (Odd semesters only)/ Undergraduate (Annual System) and Postgraduate Courses (Annual & Semester System) who have exhausted their all chances. These applicants can appear in Re-appear/Compartment Examinations/Improvement of the performance & Deficient subjects. Golden Chance Even Semester examinations for BA/B.Sc.Courses etc. will be held later on as per decision of the University.
The applicants can appear along with the students who have already applied for Golden Chance in February 2020 for whom the Examination could not be conducted by the Panjab University due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Those candidates who have already applied in Feb. 2020 need not apply again), These examinations will be held in physical mode & tentatively in the second week of August-2021. The centers for Golden Chance examination are Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Abohar and Muktsar. The site/s will become operational w.e.f. 12/07/2021. The last date for online Registration and Submission of forms is 22/07/2021 & after 22/07/2021 no form will be accepted. The site will become operational w.e.f. 12/07/2021.
Improvement/Additional examination
Candidates who had applied for improvement/additional examination to be conducted in ongoing semester examination will also appear in physical mode along with these golden chance examination. Detailed instruction in this regard will be issued soon.
