Two more arrested in Asif murder case
Chandigarh, May 27 – Haryana Police has arrested two more accused in connection with Asif murder case of Nuh district. So far, a total of nine accused have been arrested in this case.
Giving this information here today, a spokesperson of Haryana Police said that arrested accused have been identified as Kuldeep alias Kulli and Rohit, both residents of Kheda Khalilpur. The two accused, who have been absconding since the incident, have been arrested following secret information. Both accused will be taken on remand by producing in the court for intensive interrogation, besides recovery of weapons used in the crime.
On May 16, 2021, Asif of Kheda Khalilpur in Nuh was killed by a group of armed men due to personal enmity. The dead body of the deceased was found near village Nangli Sohna.
Superintendent of Police, Nuh, immediately after the information, registered a case and formed a SIT headed by DSP level officer to arrest accused. Based on intelligence and other inputs, seven accused namely Raju, a resident Kherli Dausa, Anoop, Mahendra, Lalit, Gulshan all residents of Kheda Khalilpur, Sandeep of Udka and Ankit of Bhawana in district Palwal have already been arrested.
Police has declared a reward of Rs 25000 each on the arrest of Patwari, Advani, Kuldeep and Kala, wanted in the murder case. Police will nab the remaining soon.
