Mini COVID Care Centres
Chandigarh.22nd May,2021:The Chandigarh Administration has given a clarion call for setting up Mini COVID Centers in the City voluntarily by the interested organization/associations. Total 07 Mini COVID Centers have been set-up in different parts of the city and all of them have become functional. Each of the COVID Centre is having 80% or more of the capacity as Oxygenated Beds. The detail of its capacity and the present occupancy is as under:

The Mini COVID Care Centre at Sector-8B and at Sector-43 were inaugurated by Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, Hon’ble Governor Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh on 20.05.2021. The last Center at Sector-34 was inaugurated on 21.05.2021 by Shri Manoj Parida, IAS Adviser to the Administrator.
The present occupancy of the Mini COVID Care Centers is more than 50%. All the facilities like medicine, nutritious food, recreation and yoga etc are being provided by the trained Doctors and support staff, free of charges.
