Chandigarh Administration has announced genuinally LOCKDOWN with day time restrictions w.e.f. 5:00 PM on 04.05.2021 (Tuesday), till 05:00 AM on 11.05.2021 (Tuesday). All shops selling non-essential items will remain closed besides total weekend curfew on Saturday and Sunday will continue.
We Businessmen of this City Beautiful have strictly followed COVID 19 NORMS during March 20 till date and we rendered best cooperation to Administration during these hard days. There had been complete Lockdown for months earlier wherein our establishments were locked and we were unable to earn our livelihood. We had to cater to the needs of our Staff who were dependent on us thereby suffered great loss financially.
The Pandemic was prevalent in whole of the world and it was tragedy for all living human beings.
We have to meet our daily needs such as House Hold Expenses, School fees for children, Electricity bills for office as well as home, Employee salaries, GST Charges, Bank Charges, EMI for Housing Loan as well office, Establishment rent and Property Tax for shop as well House.
Since business in the City is already at an all time low, the Govt. must immediately offer some relief measures for Traders otherwise there will be total collapse of economic fibre of the City and resulting into a disaster for families and employees of business segment of the City. WE REQUEST YOUR GOODSELF TO DIRECT CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRAION TO “ALLOW REBATE IN PROPERTY TAX, ELECTRICITY BILLS (WAIVER OF FIXED AND MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES), DISCOUNTS IN SCHOOL FEES, WAIVER OF EMI, BANK INTEREST, INTT ON HOUSING LOANS, ETC. during Lockdown period PLUS 3 MONTHS BUSINESS RECOVERY TIME. Besides these rebates. The Govt of India may also allow some money incentive to Traders as well as their Staff so that we all are able to survive in this stressful period.
