Chandigarh, 2 May: –
President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, Kumari Selja said that due to Corona virus, the situation in Haryana has gone out of control today. This has happened due to the failed policies of the government. What can be a better example of the failure of the government that Chief Minister Manohar Lal himself has to take command of a district regarding Corona virus. This step shows that the government itself agreed that it has proved to be a failure on every front with respect to the corona. She has demanded the Chief Minister to call an all-party meeting with immediate effect.
In a statement issued here today, Kumari Selja said that there has been an uproar everywhere due to the failures of the government. Corona virus is increasing rapidly in the state. The number of deaths is increasing rapidly. Beds are not available for the corona patients in the hospitals of the state. Due to lack of oxygen, people are dying continuously. Black marketing of medicines is taking place. Private hospitals are plundering people. The actual figures of the deaths are being hidden. The government is sitting idle and it seems that it has left the people on their own.
Kumari Selja said that if the government had made arrangements for Corona in the last one year, this situation would not have arised today. The government’s failure has put the lives of the people in a big crisis today. She repeatedly demanded from the government that the vaccination campaign should be carried out on a war footing in the state, but this was not taken care of by the government at all. Today, the situation is that there is no vaccine in most of the districts of the state, she added.
Kumari Selja said that all the parties of Haryana need to work unitedly on the situation arising out of the corona epidemic. In view of the problems being faced by the public, Chief Minister Manohar Lal should call an all-party meeting with immediate effect. In which the problems of the public and how all parties should unite and help the people in this epidemic, can be discussed in detail.
