Chandigarh, March 16 – President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, Kumari Selja said, “Three anti-agriculture black laws of the BJP government have been introduced to destroy the agricultural sector. Earth is our mother and no one can repay this debt. The one, who will cheat with this mother, is the biggest criminal”.
Kumari Selja said this while addressing the farmers agitating against the agriculture laws on the Shambhu border along the Haryana-Punjab border.
Kumari Selja said that the farmers were repeatedly tricked by the government in the name of negotiation. The government does not see the interests of the people of the country in front of its capitalist friends. Through these black laws, the government is promoting black marketing and hoarding. The government wants to make farmers bonded laborers, but they have come to know the conspiracy of this government. Farmers have been agitating for the last 111 days. More than 200 farmers have lost their lives, but the government is completely arrogant. The government does not see the suffering of farmers and laborers at all, she added.
She said that the Prime Minister has shed tears many times. The Chief Minister has also shed tears, but not a single tear was shed by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister for the farmers, who lost their lives in the farmers’ movement.
Kumari Selja said that from the first day, the Congress Party, under the leadership of Mr. Rahul Gandhi, has been fighting strongly against these three anti-agriculture black laws. The Congress Party will continue to fight this battle till these laws are withdrawn, she added.
