I take this opportunity to invite you to the Media Conference being organised by Deptt. of Nephrology, PGIMER Chandigarh to mark the observance of upcoming World Kidney Day on Wednesday, 10 March 2021 at 2.30 PM at Kairon Block, PGIMER-Chandigarh.
As we all are aware that the burden of kidney disease is quite huge, Infact, around 20-25% of patients at any time, be they in emergency wards or even Covid ward, need some or other type of nephrology consultation and intervention. However, there is a fear in general public that having a kidney disease is “End of the life” To dispel this myth, this year, the theme of the World Kidney Day” is “Living well with Kidney Disease
The Department of Nephrology is organizing a small programme on the eve of “World Kidney Day”.Alongside, to help those suffering from renal failure, a website will also be launched on Wednesday, 10 March 2021 at 2.30 PM at Kairon Block, PGIMER-Chandigarh.
Prof. Jagat Ram, Director PGIMER has very kindly consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest on the occasion.
