Centre to be made operational by mid of this year
Today, Sh. Kumar Gaurav Dhawan, IRS, Deputy Director (Administration), PGIMER, Chandigarh made a visit to PGIMER Satellite Centre Sangrur along with Dr. Ashok Kumar, Additional Medical Superintendent, Sh. P.S. Saini, Superintending Hospital Engineer and Dr. Rajnish Puri, Nodal Officer, concerned Engineers from M/s HSCCC at PGIMER, Chandigarh including representative of the Contractor, M/s NKG.
The Deputy Director (Administration) took extensive round of all the buildings e.g. OPD Block, Hospital Black, Director Bungalow, Residential Units and Hostel. After detailed round, he chaired meeting with the officials and executing agency representatives and directed them to avoid any further delay in completion of the project.
He also directed the representatives of the executive agency to award the services tenders expeditiously After detailed discussion he directed the agency to ensure completion of construction work along with all the services in the next few months so that the Centre could be made operational by mid of this year.
