Chandigarh, Elcare, a company providing healthcare solutions to senior citizens across the country has started its operations in Chandigarh, thus forays into northern India. Suresh Mutaneja, Chairman and Managing Director of Elcare while addressing the media at Chandigarh Club said that according to finding from UN Population Fund and HelpAge India, the population of the senior citizens in the country will reach 173 million by 2026, which equally requires their care and safety. He emphasized that along with government initiatives, private players also need to contribute in this sector.
“Our elders are plagued with the common diseases of diabetes, hypertension, joint pains among many other illnesses. Elcare ensure online and on-call consultation and advisory for such symptoms as well as general health concerns including diet and nutrition requirements.
