Chandigarh.2 December,2020:The Chandigarh Administration has decided to re-locate the residents of Pre-fab shelters in Sector- 52 & 56 to EWS flats at Maloya-I. The project is being implemented under the Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (ARHCs) Scheme. An updated list of the occupants, after considering the objections, is available on the official website of the Chandigarh Housing Board i.e. www.chbonline.in. A camp was organized at the CHB premises in last week of October 2020 to receive applications for allotment of flat at Maloya-I under ARHC scheme. Thereafter a mini-camp was also organized to accept the remaining applications on 12.11.2020.
2. So far three draws have been held and the last draw will be held on 10.12.2020. Some of the occupants of Pre-Fab Shelters at Sector-52 & 56 have requested to allow one more opportunity for submission of application forms. Their names are available in the list uploaded on the website and they have already collected application forms but could not submit the same in time. As a last & finals opportunity, all such remaining occupants, whose names are included in the survey list, may submit their duly filled application forms in CHB on Monday i.e. 07.12.2020 between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM, along with No Dues Certificate of Electricity connection at the Pre-Fab Shelter and an amount of Rs. 4,000/-. Both Husband and Wife are required to be present at the time of submission of application form so that their joint photograph can be captured. They are required to bring their original Aadhaar Card. The name of the eligible applicants will be included in the last draw schedule to be held on 10.12.2020.
