Chandigarh, Oct 30 – Now Private Security Operators will no longer need to visit Controlling Authority office to seek a fresh license or for renewal under Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act (PSARA) as Haryana Police has decided to start accepting all such applications online on web portal https://psara.gov.in from November 1, 2020.
Disclosing this here today, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Mr Navdeep Singh Virk, who is also the Controlling Authority of Haryana Private Security Agencies said that applicant can visit the Haryana Police Website https://haryanapoliceonline.gov.in/ to obtain the application information and apply online as per instructions given on the site.
He said that all kinds of clearances and other nods would be given online to issue or renew such licences. The private security agencies can easily apply online with the supporting documents. The licence would also be issued online once the entire process of verification is completed.
The Controlling Authority also advised all private security agencies operating in Haryana must strictly follow the PSARA norms.
It may be mentioned here that Union Home Minister Mr Amit Shah had recently launched a government web portal for accepting and issuing private security agencies licence online and various states including Haryana are now integrated into the same national portal.
