The Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore today expressed grave concern over the recent shooting incidents in Chandigarh.
The Administrator ordered the DGP, UT, Shri Sanjay Beniwal to expeditiously investigate into the unfortunate incidents in which one Gurlal Brar was shot dead and another Saurav Gujjar was shot at in two separate incidents. He said that the culprits be booked and proceeded against as per law. He also sought a complete time bound status report of all the shooting incidents in the city in the last 3 years with action taken by the Chandigarh Police in each case.
