SARS-CoV-2,Covid 19,Update
8 th Sept

Cases : 27,485,423 deaths 896,842 USA :Cases 6,485,575 death 193,534
India : Cases 4,277,584
death 72,816
Brazil : cases 4,147,794 deaths 127,001 (worldometer)

Nation overtook Brazil as infections continue to rise in the country.India added 90,802 cases to its total count of now more than 4.2 million in 24 hours. The fastest rate anywhere in the world. It has taken 13 days for India to go from three to four millio, while it took Brazil 25 and the US 16 days.India has ramped up its testing capabilities to conduct over a million tests a day.which is one reason for the spike in daily cases but our testing capabilities are still less as compared to US and other countries. The rate of infection in India is increasing ,with no signs of when it will hit the peak, while US and Brazil it seems are showing downward trend.
Good point is our mortality rate is better than some other countries. The data published by Ministry shows that the CFR was 2.15 per cent on August 1 and now stands at 1.72 %. Which is much lower than Brazil and US.Experts
speculate that the lower death toll may partially be the result of its largely youthful population, while others theorize that an immunological factor might be making the disease less severe

No one is safe until everyone is safe.
Wear mask, maintain social distance, wash hands and be smart about crowds, “We all must do it, ”
face coverings (nose & mouth) should be part of new normal.

Smoking in any form at this time should be banned in public places as it may increase the spread of virus

Teamwork and feeling of oneness is important for winning this Corona war
