Through this festival, the young budding and sensational talents pay tribute to the illustrious flute maestro with their music. This programme Our held today at 8:00 pm live on our face book page and official youtube channel of the Kendra daily i.e from 29th to 31st July. This unique festival also featuring amazing heartfelt interviews by maestros of Indian Classical Flute and Music in general such as Pt Nayan Ghosh*, *Pt Ronu MajumdarPt. Rajendra Prasanna , Pt Pravin Godkhindi* and *Pt Chetan JoshiInauguration Day featuring Shadaj Godkhindi_, son and disciple of Pt Pravin Godkhindi . Shadaj is the recipient of “Award of Excellency in Music” by RamSeva Mandali, Bangalore. He has won 1st prize in “Whizz Classical” a national level music completion, Mumbai. He has completed 7th grade exam in Drums with distinction conducted by Trinity School of Music, London. Shadaj has also bagged the first prize in All India radio Aakashvani competition and is now a ‘B’ grade artist. He has already been featured in numerous TV shows as well. He has performed in many prestigious music festivals across India. He has also performed in some countries abroad as well.Shadaj chose raga Jog , begin with aalap followed by gayaki ang based bandish in Madhya laya set to teen tal. After this he moved on to present drut teen taal bandish. He concluded his recital with ati drut jala in teen taal. He was ably accompanied by Sh. Kiran Godkhindi on tabla.
