Sajal Koser informed the art lovers of city beautiful that in view of the health advisories issued by the Competent Authorities of Govt. Of India and Chandigarh Administration, to take precautionary measures and preventive steps to contain the spread of COVID-19 Virus, the Governing body of Pracheen Kala Kendra in its emergent meeting on 13th March’20 had decided to postpone the seven day 50th All India Bhaskar Rao Nritya and Sangeet Festival which was scheduled to be held from 16th March to 22nd March at Tagore Theatre until everything related to Covid19 calms down. Whereas the Kendra would incur huge financial loss in postponing this event, this decision has been taken in larger public interest. Mr. Sajal Koser felt grateful to live in such a clean and green city like Chandigarh, and that govt is playing their part is containing the spread of it. He further said that the decision was right from us and as all events have been cancelled all over India. The fresh dates of the event will be announced shortly .
