PRASHAR elected press gallery committee president CHHIBBER Vice President, BHULLAR Secretary

Chandigarh,sunita shastri:Press gallery committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha today elected its new office bearers for the year 2020. A.S.Prashar, Editor in-Chief of Bright Punjab Express was elected president, Jai Singh Chhibber of Punjabi Jagran was elected as vice president and Jagtar Singh Bhullar of ANB News Channel was elected Secretary.For the first time voting was held for the election of the office bearers. The press gallery committee was recently reconstituted and expanded by the Speaker RANA K P Singh with the inclusion of representatives of electronic media. 26 out of 27 members were present at the meeting. One member abstained from voting.The newly elected team later formally called on the Speaker who congratulated them.
